Important life question

October 21st, 2006 No comments

Here is a really important life question that you should answer: Am I going to live my life according to God’s Word or Man’s advice?

I encourage you to think about that. God’s Word, the Bible, IS truth! All that man has to offer is his advice/opinion based on what he sees around him. BUT God’s Word has been written from a different perspective, God’s perspective!

If you don’t believe in God, do you believe that King Solomon was on the earth? If so, check out what he said: “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” – Proverbs 14:12 & 16:25 (BIBLE)

A lot of people believe Jesus DID exists; however, they say He was just a good man and/or a prophet and not a deity. Why would he have said the following: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.’” – John 14:6-7 (BIBLE)

Jesus is either a heretic or for real. You decide, your life depends on it.

Erwin McManus Quote

October 8th, 2006 No comments

I have a friend, Shane, who sent me an email with a quote he found in Erwin McManus’ book that he’s been reading called CHASING DAYLIGHT (formerly published under the title Seizing Your Divine Moment). Below is a couple of brief quotes from the main part of the book that he shared.

“Our wealth and abundance of human resources have positioned us to accept a paradigm that provision precedes vision.”

“Do what you know you should do, and you will know what to do. God clarifies in the midst of obedience, not beforehand.”

WOW.

I posted this comment on Ferg’s Xanga and had to publicize it!

“One thing I learned from Jesus: Sometimes you have to spit in someone’s eye to get them to see what’s really going on.” – Mike Jr.
