Judge Denies Stewart’s Bid to Relax Confinement

Of course they shouldn’t revoke her bid to relax confinement! I see both sides of the argument; however, I agree most with the judge, “In my opinion, the sentence I imposed was particularly needed to reflect the seriousness of the offense, to promote respect for the law and to provide just punishment…” He also said, “Home detention is imposed as an alternative to imprisonment. It is designed to be confining…”. Martha, you can either stay at home or go to jail. It’s your choice.
